Send Champagne, Whisky and Gifts to London from Chicago

London is six hours ahead of Chicago for most of the year, so the London evening starts while you are still at lunch. Our licensed dispatch unit in Battersea delivers across Greater London 24 hours a day, typically in 30–45 minutes, so a gift ordered on your morning coffee break can arrive for their afternoon.

The bottle is dispatched in London and never crosses a border: no international shipping, no customs and no duty for the person receiving it.

Chicago time vs London time

Order in Chicago	Time in London	What to expect
8am	2pm	A same-afternoon surprise
noon	6pm	Arrives in time for the evening
5pm	11pm	Still delivered tonight — we run 24/7

Times assume the usual six-hour difference. For a few weeks each spring and autumn, when the US and UK change their clocks on different dates, the gap is five hours.

What Chicago senders choose

Single malt Scotch — Scotch bought in Britain is the natural gift for a whisky drinker.
A taste of home: bourbon, such as Woodford Reserve.
Veuve Clicquot and Moët & Chandon for birthdays and congratulations.
The Celebration Hamper — Veuve Clicquot with Charbonnel et Walker truffles.
Corporate gifts for colleagues and clients in the London office.

Questions from Chicago

Do I need a UK card or billing address?

No. Only the delivery address has to be in the UK. Your card and billing address can be where you are.

Will the recipient pay customs or duty?

No. The order is fulfilled inside the UK with UK duty already paid, so nothing crosses a border.

Who can accept the delivery?

Someone aged 18 or over. We check age on every alcohol delivery, and under our Challenge 25 policy anyone who looks under 25 will be asked for photo ID.

Can I choose when it arrives?

London orders go out as soon as they are placed. To land at a particular moment, time your order with the table above, or contact us first.

Do you deliver outside London?

Yes, across mainland UK, with express (1–2 business days) and standard (3–5 business days) options shown at checkout.
