Choosing Flowers to Send
A bouquet says what words sometimes can't. Our roses come as hand-tied bouquets, elegant flower boxes and long-lasting preserved designs.
What the colours mean
-
Red roses: love and romance, the classic choice for anniversaries and Valentine's Day.
-
White roses: new beginnings, purity and remembrance, ideal for weddings, new babies and sympathy.
-
Pink roses: gratitude, admiration and friendship, perfect for birthdays and thank-yous.
Bouquet, box or long-lasting rose?
-
Bouquet: fresh roses to put in a vase. The most traditional gift.
-
Flower box: roses arranged in a stylish box, ready to display with no vase needed.
-
Infinite roses: real roses preserved to last for a year or more without water, like the OnlyRoses Infinite Rose Heart.
Making fresh roses last
Trim 2–3cm from each stem at an angle, remove any leaves below the water line and use a clean vase with cool water and the flower food provided. Change the water every two days and keep the roses away from direct sun, radiators and fruit bowls.
Complete the gift
Flowers and fizz are the perfect pair. Add a bottle from our Champagne gifts or chocolates from our caviar and chocolate gifts, and add a personal message at checkout. If your order includes alcohol, the recipient may be asked for ID under Challenge 25.
