Charles Heidsieck Rosé Millésimé 2005 — a vintage rosé of red-fruit depth and toasty, long-aged elegance.
From the celebrated Charles Heidsieck house, this vintage rosé is drawn from the 2005 harvest — around 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay — and aged at least eleven years on the lees in the house's chalk cellars. The result is a rosé of rare richness and finesse.
Textured and elegant, with a creamy mousse of fine bubbles. Vivid red fruit is layered over roasted-almond and brioche depth, kept fresh and vigorous by brisk acidity through a long, refined finish.

Lovely as an apéritif, and with shellfish, poultry and creamy desserts.
Eleven-plus years on the lees builds the nutty, brioche depth that sets long-aged Charles Heidsieck apart.
Well chilled, at 8–10°C, in a tulip glass to show the aromatics.
