Garden 108 takes its name from the 108 days it takes garden peas to grow from seed to harvest. It is built around a distillation of peas, hay, spearmint, rosemary and thyme โ the most herbaceous expression in the Seedlip range, and the greenest thing on most back bars.
What makes it work is that it is genuinely distilled rather than blended from flavourings, so it has structure and a dry finish rather than sweetness. It was the bottle that made a serious alcohol-free spirits category possible, and it still does the job better than most of what followed.
