Six bottles of Rioja in a wooden keepsake chest — the kind of gift that is still in use as a wine rack long after the wine has gone.
Rioja is Spain's benchmark red, and what sets it apart is not the grape but the wood. Tempranillo gives the fruit — red cherry, plum, a savoury edge — and then years in American oak give Rioja the vanilla, coconut and sweet-spice signature nothing else quite replicates. It is the most food-friendly red in Spain and among the most reliable in the world. Six bottles arrive in a wooden chest built to be kept: four and a half litres of wine, and a box that earns its place on a shelf afterwards.
Three Rioja estates, each represented twice — once as a Reserva, once as a Gran Reserva. It is the clearest way to taste what the extra years in oak and bottle actually do, because the only thing changing between the pair is time.

Yes. It is a wooden keepsake box rather than packaging, and most people keep it as a wine rack or storage box.
Predominantly Tempranillo, usually with Garnacha, Graciano or Mazuelo in support. Rioja is a place, not a grape.
American oak. Rioja is traditionally aged in it rather than French oak, and American oak gives those vanilla, coconut and sweet-spice notes.
Yes, the chest is the presentation. Gift packaging and a personal message are also available at checkout.
