Cordon Negro by the case — the iconic black bottle, made by the traditional method in Catalonia.
Cordon Negro is one of the most recognisable sparkling wines in the world, and the black bottle is a large part of why — it has been instantly identifiable for decades. It is made in Catalonia using the traditional method, the same second-fermentation-in-bottle process used in Champagne.
The Parellada grape gives it its character: crisp, clean and well balanced, with a precision that explains why it has held its place on tables around the world for so long. This is the case of six. 12% ABV.
Serve with: tapas, fried food, seafood, or as an aperitif. Cava is one of the great partners for anything salty. Serve at 6–8°C.

The method is the same — second fermentation in bottle — but the grapes, the climate and the place are different. Cava is a Spanish category with its own identity; Champagne is a protected French appellation.
It is Cordon Negro’s signature, and it has been for decades. Dark glass also protects the wine from light, which is no bad thing.
Its acidity and fine bubbles cut through salt and fat exceptionally well — which is why in Spain it goes with everything from jamón to fried seafood.
