Miyagikyo is everything Yoichi is not. Built in a river valley in Sendai, surrounded by forest and fresh mountain water, it produces whisky that is light, delicate and unpeated — the quiet counterpart to Yoichi’s coastal intensity. Vanilla, apricot, fudge and marzipan over a clean, fruity base. The whisky for those who find Scottish single malts too heavy and Scotch blends too thin.
Nose: Vanilla, fudge, apricot and a hint of lemon zest.
Palate: Light and elegant with lemon, marzipan, gentle oak and soft fruit.
Finish: Clean, delicate and refreshingly long.
45% ABV. Single malt Japanese whisky. Non chill-filtered.
