This is the single malt of rum. It was distilled at Guadeloupe’s Bellevue distillery in 1998 and bottled in 2018 — one source, one barrel, individually numbered. What is not in it matters as much as what is: no dyes, no colourings, no cold filtration and no added sugar. The exact, honest age of a distillate matured for two decades.
To finish, the rum spends six months in Grand Cru barrique barrels sourced from Germany’s finest VDP wine estates, which lends a decisive final note to an already exceptional spirit. A rare and collectable bottling for anyone who values authenticity above all else.
Serve with: nothing. Neat, at room temperature, in a tulip glass. Adding anything to a single cask like this defeats the point of it.
