This is Belvedere 10 in its large format: 1.75 litres, and a genuinely rare bottle. The liquid honours the original 1910 vodka-making tradition, made annually in limited small batches from a single harvest of organic Dankowskie Diamond Rye grown in one exclusive field on the Bartężek estate in north-east Poland, with pure local water.
It is quadruple-distilled in column stills, filtered through cellulose, then rested for exactly ten months in steel vats so the flavours can marry. What emerges is velvety, deep and multifaceted — the same spirit as the 70cl, in a format that changes the occasion entirely.
Serve with: neat and chilled, or over ice. As a centrepiece for a party it needs no help at all.
