Nyetimber 1086 Rosé 2010 Gift Box 75cl is a rare, prestige vintage English sparkling rosé from Nyetimber, England’s pioneering producer since planting vines in 1988. This limited-edition cuvée honours the estate’s first recorded mention in the Domesday Book of 1086 (“Nitimbreha”), symbolising nearly a millennium of history in the West Sussex South Downs. Made exclusively from estate-grown grapes, the 2010 blend is 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay, hand-selected from the finest parcels for rosé production. The outstanding 2010 season—drier winter, excellent hot/dry flowering, cooler August rains, and sunny September ripening—yielded delicate, fine flavours. Traditional method bottle fermentation and 5 years on lees (disgorged June 2016) at 8 g/l dosage with Mytik Diam technical corks deliver exceptional finesse. Pale pink with silky elegance, it offers vibrant red fruits (strawberry, raspberry), floral notes, creamy mouthfeel, perfect tension between fruit and structure, and a long, persistent finish.
