A. Bergère Origine Brut — honest, precise grower Champagne at a remarkably considered price.
From a family growing grapes in Champagne since 1848, A. Bergère's Origine Brut is grower Champagne at its most honest and precise. A blend of 70% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier from chalk, sand and clay terroirs in the Vallée du Petit Morin, with a low 4g/l dosage. Exceptional quality at a genuinely considered price.
Chardonnay-led and creamy, with nectarine and apricot lifted by fresh pastry and almond, fine persistent bubbles and a crisp, mineral finish — medium-bodied and beautifully balanced.

Champagne grown and made by the same family estate — here A. Bergère, growers since 1848 — rather than a large house.
Lovely as an aperitif and with seafood, poultry and soft cheeses.
