Nino Franco is one of the historic houses of Prosecco, founded by Antonio Franco in 1919 in Valdobbiadene — the steep hill country that is the heartland of the appellation. Rustico is the house’s signature cuvée, made from Glera and vinified in stainless steel to keep it fresh and precise.
In the glass it is everything good Prosecco should be: lively green apple, pear and citrus, floral notes, a hint of minerality and a creamy, fine mousse carried on bright acidity. Light-bodied and clean-finishing — a natural aperitif and a bottle that suits any celebration or none at all.
