Nikka From The Barrel Blended Japanese Whisky 50cl

From The Barrel was released in 1985 with a single ambition to bottle whisky the way blenders actually taste it, straight from the cask. Over 100 batches of malt and grain are blended, then returned to used barrels for a second maturation. The result is bottled at 51.4% with minimal dilution. Nothing softened. Nothing hidden.

The square bottle is not decorative. It is a statement. A small block of whisky, dense and unapologetic.

Nose: Rich and complex dried fruit, dark spice, honey and a trace of smoke.

Palate: Full and warming with caramel, ripe plum, pepper and toasted oak.

Finish: Long, mellow and deeply satisfying.
