Rosé Champagne · Since 1968
Laurent-Perrier didn't just add a rosé to the range in 1968 — it built an entire dedicated winery for one wine, and hasn't stopped perfecting it since.

Heritage
🏆Widely Regarded as the Benchmark Rosé Champagne Worldwide
Introduced in 1968 by Bernard de Nonancourt, who believed Pinot Noir deserved its own serious rosé rather than being an afterthought blended from white wine — a decision that made Cuvée Rosé the reference point most other pink champagnes are still measured against.

Questions
What makes the production method special?
Instead of blending white champagne with a little still red wine, the common shortcut, Laurent-Perrier macerates whole Pinot Noir grapes with their skins for 48–72 hours before pressing — a slower, more demanding process that draws out real colour and genuine red-fruit aroma rather than just tinting the wine.
Why is 1968 significant?
That's when Bernard de Nonancourt introduced Cuvée Rosé, treating rosé as its own serious wine rather than a lesser variation of the house's white champagne — a decision that's made it the reference point most other rosé champagnes are still compared to.
What's the story behind the bottle shape?
It's inspired by a flask design associated with King Henri IV, giving Cuvée Rosé one of the most recognisable silhouettes in Champagne.
