A milk chocolate truffle built around a caramelised biscuit centre, rolled in crushed biscuit so the crunch is on the outside too. The least formal thing the Royal Arcade makes, and the hardest to put down.

Charbonnel et Walker have made chocolates by hand since 1875, when Madame Charbonnel came over from Paris at the Prince of Wales's suggestion to open a shop with Mrs Walker. They still trade from One, The Royal Arcade on Old Bond Street, and still hold a Royal Warrant.
This is their caramelised biscuit truffle: a milk chocolate truffle with a caramelised biscuit centre, enrobed in milk chocolate and finished with crushed caramelised biscuit pieces so the texture carries right through. It reads sweeter and more playful than their Marc de Champagne or dark sea salt boxes — the one in the range that disappears fastest at the end of a dinner, and the easiest to give to someone whose taste you don't know.
Presented in the house's round orange tin, gold-bordered, with the Royal Warrant on the lid.

Storage
Cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. Not the fridge.
No. Unlike the Marc de Champagne truffles, the caramelised biscuit truffle is made with chocolate, caramelised biscuit and cream — no spirit in the ganache.
How many truffles are in the tin?
105g of truffles, arranged in the round tin in paper cases. The exact count varies a little because they are finished by hand.
How should they be stored?
Somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight, and not in the fridge — condensation dulls the chocolate and softens the biscuit. Best enjoyed within a few weeks.
Can I send it straight to someone else?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout and add your message — we deliver with no paperwork or pricing inside.
