Lagavulin 16 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl

Lagavulin 16 is the benchmark by which all Islay whiskies are measured. Aged for a minimum of sixteen years in ex-bourbon oak on the southern shore of Islay, it delivers intense peat smoke layered with dried fruit, sea salt, Lapsang Souchong tea and a long, warming finish. Nothing about it is accidental. Everything about it is deliberate.

Nose: Deep peat smoke, iodine, seaweed and raisin.

Palate: Rich and dry with bonfire smoke, dark fruit and salted oak.

Finish: Long, warming and persistently smoky.
