Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2011 — the house's signature prestige cuvée, in a grand 6-litre format.
From the family house of Taittinger (founded 1734), Comtes de Champagne is made only from Chardonnay and only in the finest years — first created in 1952. This 2011, aged several years on lees, is a splendid celebration of elegance and finesse, presented in an impressive 6-litre bottle.
Full-bodied yet elegant and creamy, with a fine, softened mousse. Ripe white orchard fruit is layered with honey, brioche and marzipan over a chalky minerality, leading to a long, persistent finish.
