Single Malt Scotch · Experimental Series
The first single malt finished in casks that once held craft IPA — a vibrant, hoppy twist on Speyside.
Part of Glenfiddich's Experimental Series, the IPA Cask was created with a Speyside craft brewery. A special India Pale Ale was aged in ex-Glenfiddich casks; those casks were then returned to the distillery to finish the whisky for around three months. The result is a fresh, fruity malt carrying a distinctive hoppy zest — unlike anything else in the range.

Questions
What is an IPA cask finish?
The whisky is finished in casks that were first used to age a specially brewed India Pale Ale. Those casks pick up hoppy, citrus character, which then passes into the whisky during a short finishing period.
How should I serve it?
Neat or with a drop of water to bring out the hops and fruit. Its fresh, zesty character also makes it a fun base for a whisky Highball.
