Devaux Sténopé 2011 — a precise, single-year Champagne from Devaux and Michel Chapoutier.
Sténopé (“pinhole”) is the acclaimed collaboration between the Devaux house and Rhône winemaker Michel Chapoutier — a Champagne conceived to capture the essence of a single year. The 2011 is delicate and mature, blending Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Côte des Bar.
Medium-bodied with a rounded texture and high, refreshing acidity. Ripe orchard fruit meets toast, vanilla and dried fruit, leading to a long, subtly saline finish.
