Baron de Badassière Carignan — a bright, aromatic southern French red, lifted with cassis, plum, herbs and spice.
From the Côtes de Thau in the Languedoc, this Carignan is produced within the Gérard Bertrand stable. Hand-harvested and oak-aged, it's aromatic and expressive — bright red with deep purple hints and a warm, sunny character.
Medium to full-bodied, with attractive berry-fruit intensity — cassis and plum — lifted by herbs and spice with a touch of game, over fresh acidity and firm but smooth tannins.
