Still G.I.N. comes out of the collaboration between Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, and whatever you expect from a celebrity spirit, this is not it: it is a properly made small-batch American gin, distilled from neutral grain spirit and built on eleven curated botanicals.
The line-up is classic — juniper, coriander, angelica root, lemon and orange peel, orris root and cassia bark — assembled for balance rather than novelty. At 42.5% ABV it is crisp and contemporary, with enough backbone to mix hard and enough refinement to drink slowly.
Serve with: a good tonic and a wedge of lemon, or in a Negroni or Martini. It also holds up neat over ice.
