The benchmark rosé Champagne — 100% Pinot Noir, made by skin maceration rather than blending — in the Petal Robe edition. The wine inside is the Cuvée Rosé as it has been since 1968; the petal robe is what makes this bottle its own object.
Most rosé Champagne is made by blending a little red wine into white — quick, reliable, and easy to repeat from year to year.
Laurent-Perrier's Way
Whole Pinot Noir grapes rest on their skins and the juice is drawn off when the colour is right — the saignée method. It is exacting and unforgiving, and there is no correcting it afterwards.
Since 1968
The house has made its rosé this way since the cuvée was created, which is why the colour is so vivid and the red fruit so pure rather than merely tinted.
The Petal Robe
A limited-edition robe with a petal design dresses the bottle. The Champagne is unchanged; the robe is what you are buying on top of it, and it is the part people keep.

Questions
What is the Petal Robe?
A limited-edition presentation robe, with a petal design, that dresses the outside of the bottle. Laurent-Perrier has released the Cuvée Rosé in several robe designs over the years, and collectors tend to keep them.
Is the Champagne inside different from the standard Cuvée Rosé?
No. The wine is the same Cuvée Rosé — 100% Pinot Noir, made by maceration, aged at least four years on the lees. What differs is the robe on the outside, which is why the robe editions carry a different price from the plain bottle.
Do you stock other robe editions?
Yes — we also hold the Cuvée Rosé Robe. Each edition is the same Champagne in a different robe, so choose on the design you prefer.
Why is this rosé made differently from most?
Most rosé Champagne is blended by adding red wine to white. Laurent-Perrier instead macerates whole Pinot Noir grapes on their skins and draws the juice off when the colour is right. It is harder to get right and cannot be corrected afterwards, but it gives a more vivid colour and purer red fruit.
How should I serve it?
Chilled to 8–10°C, in a white wine glass rather than a flute — it has enough fruit and body to want the room.
