ويسكي تينيسي

Tennessee whiskey is made to the same rules as bourbon — at least 51% corn, new charred oak barrels — with one extra step that legally defines it. Before barrelling, the spirit is filtered slowly through several feet of sugar maple charcoal. This is the Lincoln County Process, and it strips out some of the harsher congeners, which is why Tennessee whiskey tends to taste rounder and sweeter than a comparable bourbon.

How to drink it

Neat or over a large cube if you want to taste the wood and vanilla. In cocktails it is the backbone of a Whiskey Sour or a Lynchburg Lemonade, and it takes cola better than most whiskeys precisely because of that softer profile.
