Monthelie Le Clou des Chênes 2020 — an elegant, fruit-driven Pinot Noir from a historic estate.
From Château de Monthelie and Eric de Suremain, Le Clou des Chênes is made from hand-selected Pinot Noir on the mineral-rich soils of Monthelie. De-stemmed, fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak, it captures the village's bright, refined character.
Aromas of red berries and earthy tones lead to a medium-bodied, elegant and fruity palate with subtle tannins. Moderate acidity keeps it fresh and smooth through a balanced, medium finish.
