La Croix de Beaucaillou 2019 — the acclaimed second wine of Ducru-Beaucaillou.
La Croix de Beaucaillou is the second wine of the esteemed Château Ducru-Beaucaillou in Saint-Julien. Made from meticulously chosen plots of youthful vibrancy, it offers a remarkable expression of the estate at a more approachable price.
A complex bouquet of blackcurrant, plum and black cherry with earth, spice, cedar and smoked tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, with a delightful balance of concentrated dark fruit, chocolate and spice over lively acidity and smooth, velvety tannins, finishing long and lingering.
