Philipponnat Sublime Réserve Sec 2008 — a rich, gently sweet vintage of brioche, toasted hazelnut and honey.
From the family house of Philipponnat, this Sublime Réserve is a rare Sec (gently sweet) style from the acclaimed 2008 vintage — 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, aged at least seven years on its lees. Luxurious and complex, it flatters both the table and dessert.
Golden, with fine, creamy bubbles. Full-bodied and luxurious, with ripe fruit, honey and almond over a brioche depth. A gently sweet Sec dosage is balanced by fresh acidity and a long, mineral-tinged finish.
