No.1 Family Estate Cuvée Blanc de Blancs — Daniel Le Brun’s flagship. Two years on lees, toasted brioche and ripe citrus.
No.1 Family Estate is Marlborough’s only dedicated Méthode Traditionnelle specialist — it makes nothing else. It was founded by Daniel Le Brun, a Champenois winemaker who brought the strictest standards of his homeland to New Zealand and applied them to Marlborough’s Chardonnay.
The Cuvée Blanc de Blancs is the flagship: 100% Chardonnay, aged on lees for two years or more. That time is what produces the toasted brioche and buttered shortbread notes over the ripe citrus fruit, and it gives the wine its seamless texture and fine, persistent mousse. Elegant and precise, and genuinely world-class.
Serve with: oysters, scallops, smoked fish or simply as an aperitif. Serve at 8–10°C so the brioche notes are not lost.

No — it is New Zealand sparkling wine from Marlborough, made by the same traditional method by a Champenois winemaker. Champagne is a protected French appellation.
“White from whites” — made entirely from white grapes, here Chardonnay. It gives the citrus precision and finesse the style is known for.
It is Marlborough’s only producer dedicated solely to Méthode Traditionnelle. Everything the estate makes is sparkling, which is rare anywhere outside Champagne.
