NEFT is made in Austria from exactly two ingredients: non-GMO ancient rye grains from Central Europe, and mineral-rich spring water drawn from a mountain aquifer in Golling. That is the whole recipe. Distillation is aimed at purity rather than neutrality — this is a vodka that keeps enough of its rye character to be worth sipping.
The packaging is as distinctive as the spirit: a barrel-shaped container in shatterproof, lightweight, recyclable aluminium that keeps the vodka cold for up to six hours and blocks light entirely, which is better for the spirit than glass.
