This briefcase is the clearest expression of that: a hard gold case made as a limited edition for the celebrities and influencers Au sends its bottles to, now released more widely. Inside sits a 70cl bottle of Black Grape — the sweetest and most recognisable of the range — alongside a full cocktail shaker set. Sweet, juicy and unmistakably grape on the nose, soft through the middle with very little of the alcohol heat you would expect at 35.2%, and a clean finish rather than a syrupy one. It is built for long drinks — over ice with lemonade or soda — and it is forgiving enough that anyone can make something good with it, which is rather the point of pairing it with a shaker set.

Character

Black grape

Sweetness

Smoothness

Dryness

Black grapeJuicySweetSmooth

At a Glance

Product

Au Vodka Black Grape Gold Briefcase & Cocktail Shaker Set

Edition

Limited edition gold briefcase

Bottle

Au Vodka Black Grape, 70cl

Strength

35.2% ABV

Contents

1 × gold briefcase · 1 × Black Grape 70cl · 1 × cocktail shaker set

Brand origin

Swansea, Wales

Questions

<details>
What exactly is in the briefcase?

One Au Vodka gold briefcase, one 70cl bottle of Au Vodka Black Grape, and one Au cocktail shaker set.
</details><details>
How strong is the vodka?

35.2% ABV — a little below a standard 40% vodka, which is typical of Au's flavoured range and part of why it drinks so easily in a long glass.
</details><details>
Is it ready to give as a gift?

Yes.
